Sustainable Practices
From the outset of our business, we have recognised the importance of environmental stewardship. We believe that minimising our environmental footprint is not just a "feel-good" statement but a business philosophy examining how innovation can create ‘win-win-win’ outcomes for our customers’ lives, business operations, and the environment we share.
Our commitment to sustainability began with our business decision to eliminate toxic cadmium batteries from our supply chain. We made the decision to offer specialist radio audio accessory manufacturer, Wireless Pacific, Li-Ion batteries as an alternative to cadmium batteries that the major radio manufacturers often bundled as standard.
We have also embraced Wireless Pacific's innovative products, such as the ITRQ™ & Secure Swap™ microphone and detachable earpiece systems. These environmentally friendly designs minimise wear and tear on radio devices, promote individual user hygiene, and reduce the likelihood of electronic equipment prematurely ending up in landfills. We consequently do not recommend, nor provide, disposable, "single wire" style, in-line microphone & earpieces.
Today, we proudly distribute Wireless Pacific products to our valued channel partners around Australia & New Zealand.
Recyclable Materials
Our dedication to the environment also extends to our packaging choices. We use cloth and recyclable materials in our packaging, significantly reducing our reliance on plastics and cutting down Australian native forests. This decision helps us and our customers reduce waste.
Responsible Disposal
Thankfully, consumers & businesses alike have become increasingly aware that proper electronic waste disposal is crucial to environmental protection. We utilise Batteries 4 Planet Ark and other B-cycle battery-accredited recycling services to ensure that old batteries are disposed of safely and responsibly. This approach to battery recycling helps prevent harmful substances from polluting our environment and promotes the recycling of used materials. We always look to provide trade-ins for customers seeking to upgrade their radio communication systems to new technology.

Our involvement in the community is another cornerstone of our business philosophy. We actively engage with social issues, providing support to various organisations that we believe make a significant impact on our community. For example, our technology partnerships with the RSPCA (Victoria) and APOD (Australia's largest defence force veterans organisation) demonstrates our commitment to animal welfare and veteran support, respectively. We have never carried toy radios or "one-off use" consumer radios that fail to meet the best Australian radio communication industry benchmarks. This commitment ensures our customers receive secure, reliable & business-critical communication equipment that meet stringent safety standards.
Moreover, we do not support grey-importing or carrying equipment not type-approved for use in Australia. Our leadership team was also instrumental in establishing the Australian Radio Communications Industry Association (ARCIA). We acknowledge that the radio spectrum is, whilst invisible, a natural resource that needs protection and professional management through industry collaboration. Through our corporate membership with ARCIA, we work with the ACMA to help organisations ensure their communications do not cause interference with emergency services or inadvertently misuse spectrum.

Our independence is a crucial aspect of our business model. As authorised dealers and resellers of every solution we stock, we maintain autonomy in our operations and decision-making processes.
