Kenwood TK-3710 Walkie Talkie
The TK-3710 is a commercial-grade Kenwood UHF CB two-way radio that offers superior audio quality compared to any other 5 watt UHF walkie talkie available in the Australian market, making it highly suitable for security, manufacturing or hospitality teams operating in high-noise environments.
The Kenwood TK-3710 comes out of the box, ready to operate on the 80 CB UHF channels, and unlike other "consumer radios" that often make unverifable claims that they are "rugged" and "ready for the Australian environment", the Kenwood TK-3710, made in Japan, has been certified to 11 x US MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F/G standards including, but not limited to, drop/shock proof testing, water & dust proof (IP67) ingress protection. These vigorous testing procedures satisfy this radio's quality as suitable for the U.S. Department of Defence's procurement.
Kenwood handheld radios have a reported warranty failure rate of 0.001%, offering world-class Japanese engineering. This TK-3710 handheld radio's warranty period is 3 years. However, many of our long-term clients are loyal to the Kenwood brand because they know the small investment pays off with "day in, day out" commercial-grade reliability long after the warranty period has expired. A battery change is normal after approximately 500 recharges from flat to full, if the radio / battery is charged correctly.

Programming Options
80 CB Channels ( Default)- Introduced by the ACMA in 2011, these are the new 80 narrowband CB channels that replace the original 40 wideband CB channels. These CB channels are license free public channels, and are best used for public communication purposes. Radio comes programmed for C.B operation as standard
Onsite Team 8™ - Radio Warehouse's Onsite Team 8™ channels are unique programming that adds 8 "onsite" team channels for you to communicate on without interference by other parties operating by chance on the same frequency. These are perfect for business use and do not require a licence to access. Other radios not programmed with our Team 8™ programming, will not be able to talk to your radios on these channels.
Private Analog Business Channel - If your business already has a licensed frequency between 450-520MHz, the Kenwood TK-3710 can be programmed to match your existing analogue radio system. Alternatively, Radio Warehouse can apply for your own ACMA-approved private radio channel.
