Motorola Curve | WiFi Enhanced Two Way Radio

MotorolaSKU: Motorola-CURVE

Sale price$429.00
Description

The Motorola Curve is a lightweight, comfortable-to-wear, and easy-to-use radio for retail, hospitality and small indoor teams.

The Curve is a 1-watt radio that allows users to communicate on 10 public, licence-free, channels in the ISM (900 MHz) band.

With an optional Wave PTX subscription, each Curve user can access advanced WiFi-enabled "voice assistant" capabilities, including sending private voicemails to other workers. Through the Wave PTX subscription, employers will also have access to the Motorola Curve portal to monitor voice analytics, ensuring staff remain productive.

We proudly support the Motorola Curve with our highly popular Secure Swap™ lapel microphone and interchangeable earpiece system for retail teams, who assign multiple staff members to share a single radio.

The Secure Swap earpiece system allows multiple staff members to share a single Curve radio, without changing the lapel microphone, attached to the radio. This reduces the wear and tear on the audio port of the radio, and give's each staff member, their own inexpensive choice in earpiece style.

For the Motorola Curve, we can first supply the large black ear hook, which is worn over the user's ear. The thousands of retail staff who wear this style constantly provide ongoing feedback that this style provides overall all-day comfort. The user's hearing is not blocked while this earpiece is being worn, allowing the retail staff member to maintain situational awareness and juggle multiple tasks.

Alternatively, we can also supply the clear surveillance ear tube earpieces for the Secure Swap microphone, expanding the user applications the Motorola Curve could potentially be used in. This includes store security, loss prevention operations, and use of the curve in high noise/peak time retail environments.

Security Earpiece For Motorola Curve

The Secure Swap lapel microphone and earpiece system reduces radio wear and tear on the audio accessory port, lowers long-term ownership costs, increases staff hygiene (no one wants to share earwax), and improves staff morale.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the Motorola Curve without an earpiece?
Yes, the Motorola Curve can also be used with or without an earpiece. This is a great feature for perhaps, a manager sitting in a back retail office who wants to listen to staff communications without having cables attached to them.

We recommend the Secure Swap earpiece system for teams sharing a single radio with an earpiece. We recommend the clear ear tube style for surveillance, store loss prevention operations, and high noise / peak time, retail environments.

Can I use the Motorola Curve without WiFi?
Yes, you can use the Motorola Curve to communicate using 10 public channels in the ISM 900 MHz band.

Is the Motorola Curve water / rainproof?
No, the Motorola Curve is designed for indoor operations only.

Can I connect the Motorola Curve to other Motorola UHF radios or 3rd party UHF radio systems?
Out of the box, the short answer is no. However, it can be technically achieved by  activating the Curve's WiFi capabilities, which are enabled by a Wave PTX subscription and internet connectivity. Then, additional hardware would need to be installed, such as a Motorola ROIP bridging device and compatible UHF base station radio, to relay the radio communication between the two systems.
