Our exclusive Range Booster Cases allow you to enjoy long-distance radio communication, without needing to install a costly, complicated and expensive two way radio repeater system.
Did you know that a 1-watt radio, when used with one of our Range Booster Cases, will give you better radio coverage and outperform a 5-watt radio worn on a user's belt (all other variables being equal)?
The reason for this is that the human body is mostly composed of water, which absorbs a lot of the RF signal. Therefore, when the antenna is worn on the user's belt, the RF signal loss is significantly dampened.
Whereas if you attach and wear your radio in a Range Booster Case, the radio's antenna will sit above the user's shoulder line and vastly improve "line of sight" coverage without the antenna being blocked by a large body of water (your body). Therefore, you could turn down the power out put of the radio, when using these cases, vastly improving the longevity of the radio's battery operation time.
Please note: not all 5-watt radios are built the same. A commercial-grade, 5-watt radio will naturally outperform a cheaply built, 5-watt radio commonly found at your consumer electronic retail stores. At Radio Warehouse, we only sell commercial and government grade radio systems.
